Czas Present Countinous

Zastosowanie 


- Używamy Present Continuous by mówić o określonej czynności która się zaczęła ale nie zakończyła w momencie mówienia o niej.
e.g. a) The car isn't starting again. 
       b) Who are you phoning? I'm trying to get throught to John.

- Używamy Present Countinous z określonymi zwrotami takimi jak : at the moment, at present, currently, just , still, by podkreślić, że czynność ma miejsce teraz.

- Używamy Present Continuous  gdy mówimy o powtarzających się czynnościach z "always", "forever", "constantly", głównie w negatywnym sensie. 
e.g. a) You are always leaving dirty dishes in the kitchen.

-Używamy Present Continuous  gdy mówimy o czynnościach tymczasowych lub trwających teraz.
e.g. a) He is sleeping at the moment.

- Używamy Present Continuous  gdy mówimy o obecnych trendach lub zmianach.
e.g. a) Oil prices are rising at present.
